Monster Bash

We went to the Peoria Sports Complex last night for their annual Monster Bash with the Tabors and Waknitzs. There were tons of booths, trick or treating, and the giant blow up bouncing things. It was really just another excuse to get the kids dressed up into their costumes.

We did a theme, as you can probably tell. Talan was Yoda, Drew was Chewbacca, Will was a Storm Trooper, and Natalie was Princess Leah. They were adorable and received quite a few compliments!

Our Little Man

Believe it or not, Talan is 1o months old tommorrow. Mark your calendars - on Talan's birthday, we will be having his first birthday party, December 20th. Here is a cute picture I snapped of him this morning.

Pumpkin Patch

We took Talan to the pumpkin patch today. The pumpkin patch is a little expensive to get in ($7), but has a lot of activites for the kids to do, such as mazes, a petting zoo, a bounce house, and a play area. Since we are planning on making this a family tradition, it should be a lot of fun in the years to come when Talan get s alittle older.

Natalie Waknitz had her 1st birthday party yesterday. Her official birthday in tomorrow. It's so crazy that she and Talan are exactly 2 months apart. These are some pictures from her party.

Unconventional Use of Toys

Talan, being the creative little boy that he is, has found some new uses for his toys this week. He's crazy and quite the dare devil!

Cooler Weather

Believe it or not, it has actually been a little cooler around here the last couple of days. We have been enjoying the cooler air and keeping the doors open. Today, I took Talan outside and had him play in the grass a little bit.

Craft Fair

Talan and I went to The Briar Patch with Emily, Claire, Natalie, Michelle, and Debbie on Saturday. There were a lot of cute things, but I knew I'd get in trouble if I purchased too many things. I did find a very cute onesie for Talan to wear on his 1st birthday (only 2 months away!). We carpooled over to Scottsdale with Debbie, Michelle, and Natalie. Talan and Natalie were too cute in the backseat together. We had to snap a few pictures!

Fall Break

This past week, Aaron had Fall Break and Talan and he hung out all week. I was very jealous! However, it was nice because Aaron brought Talan up to see me almost every day to visit, as well as to nurse so I wouldn't have to pump. It was definitely a nice treat in the middle of the day.

Talan decided he was a big boy while he was home with his daddy. Talan all of a sudden started feeding himself and wants table food almost exclusively. We starting to question if he would ever feed himself instead of feeding the dogs, but I guess he decided he was old enough now.

They grow up so fast!

Girls' Night

I know ... it's been a while. Sorry, time has gotten away from me!

A couple of weeks ago, a couple of us got together and had a ladies' night with only the little babies, no big kids. It was sooo nice. We had some fondue and watched Sex and the City. Here are a few pictures of the babies playing together. Kerry's little girl, Maddy, has a serious crush on Talan. Maddy would constantly crawl towards Talan and try to kiss him. After a while, Talan got a little frustrated. Very cute, though!
